Work integration for people with adquired brain damage
Reinsertion into the labour market is a fundamental step in the rehabilitative course and, indeed, is very important for the reconstruction and redefinition of a person’s role, in both the family and in society. The activities of the work integration service in a non-protected work experience always follow a process of professional evaluation and requalification. Workplace integration is usually the next step after attending the protected laboratories, vocational training and training towards independence. We use tools for enhancing occupational networking, such as apprenticeships, regional grants, on-site training at associations or companies, after an analysis of the suitable time, modalities, job position and needs to be met. If after the accident, the person has not lost his job, it is possible to carry out an analysis of the job positions available within the company that are suitable for the new level of competencies.
